Position Overview

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Broker / M&A Advisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing successful transactions in the lower middle market, either as a broker, buyer, seller, or M&A advisor. This role requires strong financial and negotiation skills, established industry relationships, and the ability to guide clients through complex transactions.

Responsibilities

​​

• Lead client engagements from valuation to closing.

• Source, evaluate, and manage buy-side and sell-side opportunities.

• Build relationships with private equity firms, family offices, and strategic buyers.

• Provide advisory services on growth, exit, and acquisition strategies.

• Coordinate with banks, legal, tax, accounting, and financial professionals throughout the deal process.

• Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

​​

• Successful track record of closing lower middle market transactions ($1M–$50M).

• Experience as a business broker, buyer, seller, or M&A advisor.

• Private equity or family office experience strongly desired.

• Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills.

• Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.

• State business broker, real estate, or securities license (or willingness to obtain).

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, JD, or CFA/CPA preferred.
